About Us

Cottage Seven Academy was established to serve southeastern school districts as a specialized program for students with exceptionalities.  Cottage Seven’s goal is to create an environment that challenges students socially and academically and to raise their personal expectations related to success in school.  Using a model that uses quality instruction from highly qualified instructors to drive student achievement, we establish a school culture that harbors relationships and prepares students to make good decisions during moments of adversity.  Cottage Seven’s model was widely implemented in school districts spanning the United States.  Cottage Seven’s principal and founder Bret Wade (Phoenixville, PA) decided it was time to open a school using his proven practice and principles closer to home.  We at Cottage Seven hope to provide an option that school districts and parents can trust.   Cottage Seven has their child’s best interest in mind while challenging them to expect more from themselves.  We understand that there is no magic program or system to achieve greatness in school, it takes teamwork, determination, and resources; Cottage Seven Academy has all three.
